1. Sauce 2.0 (Re-)Launch Open House: June 4, 12-6pm

Just one year after opening its doors on Queen Street East, BikeSauce, the East End bike repair shop and cycling advocacy organization, has moved to a new – bigger and better – location just up the street!

Come join the Sauciers at our Grand Opening on June 4, 2011.

There will be a ribbon cutting (chain cutting?) ceremony at noon.

When: Saturday, June 4, 2011
Where: BikeSauce, 235 Broadview Avenue (just south of Dundas)
Time: 12pm – 6pm
free coffee and baked goods!

Just like its first location, the new shop houses a DIY space where users can come and learn how to repair and maintain their bikes. There is also a social space with couches and a library stocked full of resources where anyone can come, hang out and connect with other residents interested in promoting vibrant communities. The new location also has a full kitchen, where community members are welcome to come by and cook up a meal or snack for the shop.

2. Sauce June Volunteer Meeting: June 8, 7pm

Every month, Sauce holds a Volunteer Meeting; everyone is invited!

This will be the second Volunteer Meeting in the new location, and the first one after our official (Re-)Launch. Our shop will be all set up and ready for full DIY and Coffee/Lounging. But now it’s time to work out the kinks of some of our daily operations. (We promise it won’t be as boring as it sounds)

Wednesday, June 8
7-8.30 pm
Sauce (235 Broadview Ave)

So come on out and join the fun!

It’s as easy as coming to our next advocacy meeting!
