6. Elections are coming! Bike Union Releases Analysis of Candidates

As you probably already know, we’re having a Municipal Election on October 25th. Who should you vote for? Which candidates have bike-friendly platforms?

The Bike Union can help you answer all of these questions! Their analysis of incumbents and candidates is now online!
Read their bike friendly summary of the Toronto Coalition for Active Transportation election survey, and see their compilation of the voting record of incumbents. The Toronto Cyclists Union has identified a list of candidates who possess the potential to best understand and support the needs of cyclists in Toronto. This list was compiled solely based on candidates who completed the TCAT election survey.

The purpose of this list, and the voting record of incumbents, is to provide you with a summary of bike friendly candidates. This summary is meant to act as a launching point for further research on the ward level elections. The Toronto Cyclists Union encourages you to take a closer look at these candidates and to spend a few hours volunteering on the campaign of the candidate you choose!

Further details about TCAT’s survey can be found here.
